Well, it’s officially a new year! Who-hooo! Ok, really, I don’t feel any different than I did a day ago but that’s not the point, today is about starting over, getting a clean slate (that really doesn’t happen), and setting goals for another 365 days…unless it’s a leap year, is it a leap year?
Anyway, on to my delusional ideas of what 2016 will hold for me and my family… (in no particular order)
YOGA, YOGA, YOGA: I want to spend more time doing and experiencing yoga. It’s not just a group of exercises but an actual way of life.
BEING OUTDOORS: I love being outside! I want to spend this year hiking with my family, and maybe (fingers crossed) pick back up with my running.
Decluttering – This year I’d like to spend some time working on cleaning out stuff that we simply don’t use any more…books, clothes, toys, etc.
Landscaping – Since my kids and I enjoy playing outside so much, I’d like to invest in some sod and landscaping for my side yard…the area where we spend most of our time.
Gardening – Yep, I so wanna get the family garden back up and growing.
Chickens – Oh so many chickens! In the past year, we’ve lost a lot of chickens due to other predators as well as suicide (the little boogers jump over the fence and my dogs get them…really, chickens??)
BELLY DANCING: I am so excited about starting back up. I’m actually taking two classes a week this time around. Oh yeah!
BOOKS: I plan to read till my eyeballs fall out. Yes. True that. And, if you’re a fan of reading as well, let’s be best buddies on Goodreads.
So, I think that about wraps it up for me, or at least that’s all I can think of at the moment, hell, I have a whole year to come up with plenty more, right?!
